About Us

Hi we are Jo and Kelly and between us we run naughty paws. We started naughty paws back in April 2006 and have since excelled.

ABOUT JO:

I was born with a love of dogs have always had dogs, I grew up with several German shepherds and as a teenager I always took them to local training sessions.

My first dog that actually belonged to me was Oscar, he is my jack russell cross border terrier, Oscar is now 6 years old and has always been a pleasure to own and train. He attends naughty paws every week and is quite often used to demonstrate exercises, sometimes he acts like a real pro and loves to show off, other times he just likes to show me up and act like a puppy!!!!!

My second dog is Macy, she is an English bull terrier, ive had Macy since about 14 weeks old and from what we can piece together she did nt have the best start in life, she is quite fearful of other dogs and also strangers, although at home she is incredibly full of life and is a total clown!!

My newest addition is Rogan and he is a Dogue de Bordeaux puppy, at present he is only 4 and half months old, Rogan loves to come training and meet and socialize with all his friends!

Over the last 3-4 years I have been learning and studying all that I can with regards to dog training and behavior. I am currently studying canine psychology with the canine behavior centre. Along side this study I have been completing my dog training courses with the ABTB.

ABOUT KELLY:

Although I never grew up with dogs I was always desperate for my own. Well 5 years ago I got my very own puppy an 8 week old patterdale puppy called Murphy.

Over the years I have taken Murphy to various training classes and learnt lots of different training methods from different trainers.

I also have been completing the ADTB courses and am due to take my silver soon, I also hope to sign up to the psychology course very soon.
